In 1975 I moved to California I had a choice of several things to do. I could have gotten an ordinary job, of course; or I could have continued to sell belt buckles, though I was far, far from my territory; or I could have kept publishing Wyrd magazine and write fiction; or I could have begun a career making wood carvings.
Here are some of my wood carvings.
One time I got a whole bunch of these funky kinda roll-up bamboo pictures of a Pope. They sat around for a while until they collided in my imagination with some paints I had.
